Exhibitions & Storytelling
We support local artists
At Studio Kōlea, we believe art and music are most powerful when experienced as a story. Our exhibitions and storytelling initiatives combine visual art, photography, music, and narrative, creating immersive experiences that engage audiences on multiple levels.
We have the experience
Since 2023, Ezgi Iraz has worked closely with Polu Gallery to curate and organize individual exhibitions, overseeing communication, planning, budgeting, marketing, and third-party coordination. She developed and executed community workshops to connect audiences more closely with artists and their practice, organizing four workshops that engaged participants in creative exploration and dialogue.
Selected exhibitions and initiatives Ezgi has curated, organized, and marketed include:
Susanna L. Cromwell – Natural Comforts
Arlie Pemberton – Forever Lei: A Study in Glass
Eric Maurus – GRAPHITE
Live Painting Events & Artist Field Trips – workshops and plein-air sessions with featured artists in Hale‘iwa and Waikiki
Ezgi’s work integrates digital storytelling, photography, social media, email marketing and promotional campaigns, ensuring exhibitions and workshops reach and engage wide and diverse audiences while fostering meaningful connections between artists and communities.
Studio Kōlea offers:
Curated art exhibitions and live events
Workshops & public programs connecting artists and audiences
Marketing and promotion for exhibitions and cultural events

Through exhibitions and storytelling, Studio Kōlea invites audiences to explore the intersections of heritage, imagination, and contemporary artistic practice, creating experiences that resonate long after the event ends.
